Biography

Dr. LaRocca has been a physical therapist for over twenty years. The majority of her clinical experience is in pediatric rehabilitation, and she continues to practice in the adult acute care setting. She joined the Lipscomb community in 2024, fulfilling a professional dream to teach at the college level. She has taught Anatomy and Physiology and currently teaches a variety of classes, including Foundations of Kinesiology. Biomechanics, Physical Wellbeing, and Administration of Exercise-Related programs. Dr. LaRocca has a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Campbell University and holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University. Dr. LaRocca and her husband have three children, Gracyn, Izzy, and Bennett.
