Lipscomb University has launched its largest, most ambitious fundraising campaign in its 128-year history as it plans to reach the goal of $250 million in the next three years.

Nearly 1,000 people celebrated the Sunday launch of the final phase of what John Lowry, vice president for advancement, called “the largest and most ambitious campaign the university has ever undertaken.”

Higher education veteran Al Sturgeon has been appointed Lipscomb University's new vice president of student life.

Fans of the 2016 movie Hidden Figures should love Lipscomb University’s upcoming production of Silent Sky, another little-known story of a female pioneer in science by award-winning playwright Lauren Gunderson, showcases main character Henrietta Leavitt, an astronomer ahead of her time.

Beginning in fall of 2019, Lipscomb students will have the opportunity to journey to one of the top study abroad destinations in Latin America, Costa Rica.
