Internship Testimonials
“My London internship was the most valuable professional experience of my time at Lipscomb. I learned how to operate– and thrive– within a completely new cultural environment. The confidence and skills I gained abroad continue to be invaluable as I begin my postgraduate career.”
– Makala Marsee
“My internship challenged the way I thought about professional ‘norms,’ whether internationally or in the U.S. It helped me learn– at a technical level– about things I had been studying in school through a different lens. I learned that I am capable of taking on any challenge I set my mind to, that I don’t crack under pressure, and that the world we live in is so beautiful and very worth exploring.”
– Kara Burleson
“Working at an archive in London helped me determine my career goals and prepared me for my first job in public history. I had the opportunity to work with people from all over the world on projects about the history of my favorite city! This experience was the best personal and professional decision I made during my time at Lipscomb.”
