Honduras - College of Pharmacy Winter Recap
January 30, 2025

This past December, I (Samantha) had the wonderful opportunity to join Lipscomb University's College of Pharmacy on a mission team to El Zamorano, Honduras. Our group of 16 people held three days of clinic where we saw 181 patients. Our days involved seeing patients, providing medicaiton, counseling on the medications, and praying with people. While there, we also made sure to have some good Honduran food and we got to play with the kids!
We partner with Jovenes en Camino, an amazing local organization and boys home that pours into the community in so many different ways, allowing us to serve the people there. This was my third Honduras mission trip with the College of Pharmacy and I have loved every experience. It has been a great opportunity to experience another culture, form relationships, and serve others. It is a fun and humbling experience getting to connect with the people there who are always so welcoming and kind. I'm already excited to go back again!
