Purpose & Vision

The Dr. John Parker Humanities Society has been established to honor a distinguished professor who devoted 30+ years to Lipscomb’s English department.  Inspired by the J.S. Ward Society, this organization now nurtures academic and spiritual growth for students in English, History, and Philosophy.  

Key Initiatives

By offering resources for research, mentorship, and personal development, the society fosters an environment for intellectual exploration and prepares students for various career paths.  Key initiatives are consistent with Lipscomb’s faith and heritage mission.
