Honduras (CoPH) Summer 2024 - Kaleigh's Story

July 15, 2024

Honduras CoPH 2024

The medical mission trip to Honduras with Lipscomb College of Pharmacy was a profound and enriching experience. Each day, we traveled to a new clinic, offering essential medical care and spiritual support to the local communities. The impact we made was significant, as we addressed various health needs. In addition to the clinical work, we had the opportunity to visit Jovenes en Camino, a boys' children's home. Here, we spent our free time playing and bonding with the boys, creating memorable moments and forming meaningful connections. The trip also served as a great bonding experience for the faculty and students who participated. Working together in a new environment, we developed stronger relationships. Overall, the mission trip was a valuable journey of service, learning, and personal growth.
