Join us for an immersive day where you can:
- Attend real music classes and workshops led by our outstanding faculty.
- Sing and play in ensembles alongside current students—experience the excitement of making music together.
- Meet and connect with faculty, current students, and future classmates. Get your questions answered.
- Explore our Resource Fair featuring information on music degrees, financial aid, and housing, etc.
- Special Parent Events designed to answer your family’s questions and have your parents experience life at Lipscomb University.

Each student must register in order to participate in the Lipscomb School of Music Immersion Day.

Seniors and Transfers who are interested in auditioning for the School of Music at Lipscomb University will have the opportunity to audition live with our faculty on Immersion Day!
- For this one day, we are waiving the pre-screening requirement for our Immersion Day student participants.
- Please review the Audition Guidelines page for more information on what to prepare for your live audition.
- The School of Music will be assigning your 10-15 minute audition time during the day based on area of interest. You will sign up for a time slot in your registration form schedule and a specific time will be confirmed.
- Students must apply to the School of Music before your audition on October 12th in order to receive a timely decision. This will be a secondary application from the General University application and will be found in your Bison Portal.
- A $2,000 base Music Scholarship will be awarded for participation in Immersion Day and a successful Immersion Day audition. Depending on the outcome of the audition your scholarship may be raised.
- Practice rooms will be available for students who are auditioning on Immersion Day.
