Biography

Dr. McClintock began teaching in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program in 2021. He completed his Master’s in Counseling at East Tennessee State University and his PhD. in Counseling at the University of North Texas. Dr. McClintock is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and is certified by the Center for Play Therapy at UNT as a Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) Trainer and Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) Trainer. Dr. McClintock has presented at local, state, and international conferences on topics related to play therapy, parenting, spirituality, and supervision. He conducted his dissertation on the effectiveness of CPRT for fathers and plans to continue his research in parenting and play therapy.
