The Lipscomb University College of Health Sciences Medical Missions Program is dedicated to fostering Christ-centered, sustainable, and ethical medical mission experiences through college-supported trips, both international and domestic, that align with our Christian values and promote respectful, impactful service.

Community Outreach - Medical
Partner Organizations: Blessings Hospital, Chikondi Heath, Sara Walker Foundation
A team of healthcare students, alumni and faculty will spend two weeks serving alongside the staff of Blessings Hospital, a Christian health facility that is staffed with Malawian medical professionals. The team will provide assistance to the hospital staff both at the hospital itself and at mobile medical clinics. Host Partner Chikondi Health provides and maintains lodging on the campus of Blessings Hospital in Lumbadzi. The Sara Walker Foundation helps support Blessings Hospital and donates a significant portion of the travel costs to students who are selected.

Partner Organization: Health Talents International
A team of healthcare students, alumni and faculty will spend one week serving in partnership with Health Talents International, a non-profit Christian organization that works within the Churches of Christ to promote medical evangelism in developing countries. The teams will provide primary care support at Clinica Caris in Lemoa in March, and Clinica Ezell in Montellano in June.

Partner Organization: Predisan Health Ministries
A team of healthcare students, alumni and faculty will serve in partnership with Predisan Health Ministries, a Honduran-based, Christian healthcare organization whose mission is to transform their communities in the central region of the Olancho department of Honduras through physical, spiritual, social, and economic wellness. Based in the city of Catacamas, Predisan has grown to also serve the city’s surrounding area, with facilities in the Cuyamel mountains while the Good Samaritan Medical Center is the central hub of their healthcare services. It offers 24/7 general medicine, over 20 specialties, modern diagnostic capabilities, pharmaceutical services, two surgery rooms, and ambulance service.
