Lipscomb University does not offer application fee waiver codes to international students. However, any student who visits campus receives an application fee waiver code!

The earlier you confirm your Lipscomb University enrollment your final year of high school—and have finished all your next steps with Lipscomb—the earlier you can make your Visa appointment at the U.S. Embassy within your country. You must first be admitted to Lipscomb and confirm your Lipscomb University enrollment before you can begin the process to obtain your I-20 documents to apply for a student visa.
Yes, all Lipscomb F1 Visa students are allowed to work, but only on campus. The maximum hours allowed to work during the semester (when school is in session) is 20 hours per week. Whenever a student is on Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring or Summer Breaks, and not taking any classes, they are allowed to work up to 40 hours a week. International students are not allowed to work off campus due to federal regulations. Any violation of these rules will result in termination of the student’s 1-20.
As soon as you have paid your Enrollment fee and Housing fee, and have made your first semester payments for Lipscomb University, you will be eligible to receive your first semester class schedule. For incoming freshmen, your first-semester schedule will be created for you, and you can meet with your Academic Advisor virtually to discuss your first semester classes. After your first semester, you will meet with your Academic Advisor to discuss class options and then register for classes on your own. For Transfers, you will meet with a Faculty Advisor and then receive instructions via email to register for your first semester courses.
The earlier you submit your Enrollment Fee, the earlier you will be able to receive your class schedule.
Whenever you come to Lipscomb and register for your classes, you can either buy books new, used or even rent the books.
Lipscomb partners with a service called Slingshot that you are automatically enrolled in when you begin your program—for no extra charge! They get your course information directly from the school and deliver your books to campus, charging your student account for the cost of the textbooks. Yes, all full-time international students in F-1 status are required to have and will automatically be enrolled in the United Healthcare Student Insurance plan upon Lipscomb registration. You can find more details on our International Student Services page.
