Lipscomb University’s online bachelor’s (B.S.) or bachelor of professional studies (BPS) degree in Organizational Leadership prepares working professionals and aspiring leaders to excel in today’s fast-paced, people-centered workplaces. This flexible, fully online program allows you to earn a degree wherever you are, while maintaining the benefits of a connected program based in Nashville.

The Organizational Leadership curriculum is built to equip you with practical, transferable leadership skills you can apply immediately. Courses focus on key competencies like communication, problem-solving, and influence—developed through applied, real-world learning. All students complete a comprehensive Leadership Core. Then, you can choose to pursue an Education Studies concentration or a customized concentration pathway in business, healthcare, hospitality or nonprofit leadership. This allows you to tailor the degree to your career goals, and the capstone ensures you graduate ready to lead with purpose and confidence.

All applicants to the Organizational Leadership program must have a high school diploma and submit the following:
  • Application w/ $50 fee
  • Official high school transcripts (if you have less than 60 hours of college credit)
  • Official college transcripts from all schools attended (minimum 2.0 GPA)

This program is $550 per semester hour, but you can cut that cost down when you earn up to 30 credit hours in our assessment center.

Lipscomb offers educational loans and grants, flexible payment plans and the Michael Nugent Scholarship is available once a year for prospective undergraduate students to apply. Click here to see options.

Flexible Learning

Coursework in this certificate program is 100% online, asynchronous. This means you can complete the course on your own time in accordance with what is ideal for your schedule, maintaining optimal work/life balance.

Additional Credit

We offer several ways for you to receive college credit for both academic knowledge and life experiences. Earn credit by taking an exam, submitting a portfolio, accounting for military or professional training, and participating in our day-long behavioral assessment program.
