Biblical Languages

Program Overview

Program Overview

Equip yourself with a better understanding of biblical text, enhancing your ability to serve, teach and lead citizens of the Kingdom. The College of Bible & Ministry's minor in Greek and Hebrew will provide you with the language skills you need to excel in this endeavor.

This minor is designed primarily for students in the College of Bible & Ministry who have been introduced to Greek or Hebrew through their major courses and want to grow in knowledge of the biblical languages. Students who complete this minor will become proficient in both Greek and Hebrew, taking core classes in the languages and specialized reading courses.

At the end of this course of study, students should have the ability to translate and read in both languages. The study of Greek and Hebrew is incredibly beneficial for the interpretation and understanding of biblical texts, and we encourage all future Christian scholars, ministers and mature Christians to consider this minor.
