Psychology has practical application in every facet of life and provides a strong foundation for many career paths. Our online Psychology bachelor’s program is designed with a broad curriculum that will give you the training you need for your career goals.
Our program takes you through the foundational content of psychology while also training you to think like a scientist and develop strong communication and interpersonal skills. Coursework focuses on behavior, critical thinking and social influences, as well as applied uses of psychology in diverse settings. You can explore research and internship opportunities with your academic advisor, and take advantage of the opportunity to join Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology.
Take direction from faculty advisors who can provide information on additional courses based on your aspirations to attend graduate school or to seek employment. Recent graduates have been accepted to graduate programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Law, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Business Administration.
When you graduate, you will have a broad knowledge base and interpersonal skills that can be applied to future aspirations including graduate school or employment in a variety of settings. No matter what, you'll be ready to take what you've learned to serve others, whether it's at home or across the globe.
Students in the online Psychology program will:

If you are a current Lipscomb undergraduate psychology student, this program allows you to gain early admission to the graduate program. Take six graduate hours during your senior year, then move to full-time graduate study in the summer after your senior year. Don't miss the opportunity to complete a master's degree and enter a doctoral program a year earlier. While many types of students major in psychology, doctoral preparation is the mission of our M.S. in Psychology program.
