Lipscomb University welcomed throngs of high schoolers to campus Dec. 28-30 to ring in the new year at the three-day spiritual experience called Youth in Action.

Lipscomb has been offering this time of inspiring messages, incredible worship and top-notch entertainment to teens for six years now. Youth in Action rallies throughout the Southeast, coordinated by the churches of Christ, draw thousands of teens each year.

Youth in Action included morning and evening worship gatherings in Collins Alumni Auditorium, lectures and workshops covering a variety of topics in spiritual life formation throughout campus and a work/service project.

Keynote Speakers for Youth in Action 2012 were ministers Rob Duncan and David Skidmore.

“Many teenagers come here feeling oppressed and they are hungry for the love of Christ. We want to bring the good news that can leave them feeling refreshed and with the joy of the Lord,” said Steve Davidson, director of spiritual outreach at Lipscomb.
