Pi Kappa Sigma, Alpha Phi Chi and the Student Government Association presented the 2008 Faculty Talent Show Thursday to kick off Facing Hunger Week. All proceeds for the talent show and for various events throughout the week were donated to World Vision’s Hunger Crisis Program. All funds donated to this cause during the past week will be multiplied by eight through a governmental grant.

This year, the money raised will go specifically to countries that have been affected by drought and floods. World Vision is working to break the cycles of poverty and hunger by joining with families and communities around the world to educate, enable, and empower them to be independent and to produce their own food.
