Steven Curtis Chapman tour comes to Allen Arena

Don’t miss the excitement as the WAY-FM 2007 Fall Concert Series comes to Allen Arena Friday, November 16, at 7 p.m., featuring multi-platinum, Grammy Award winning Steven Curtis Chapman and his Live in This Moment tour. This tour, featuring Chapman along with Sanctus Real and Bethany Dillon, will visit 55+ cities and runs through March 2008.

Fans get a taste of what Chapman created on his sixteenth studio project and what is being praised as “among the best of his career” (Billboard) and “a thoughtful original” (USA Today). It’s entitled This Moment, and puts Chapman in new territory with first time co-writing partnerships and a new co- producer, Matt Bronleewe (Leeland, Rebecca St. James). Chapman, a nine-time Songwriter of the Year winner, clearly applies his chosen theme across various sonic settings and three distinct areas: family, global mindedness, and worship.

“It’s all about what God is doing in every heart, in every corner of the world, in this moment. I want to remind people that God is more concerned with our day-to-day than we might think. He is not just in the valley or on the mountaintop. He’s on the straight open road, too. I hope we can begin to really experience what he’s doing in this moment,” said Chapman.

The WAY-FM 2007 Fall Concert Series continues with Toby Mac’s Winter Wonder Slam Tour Friday, December 14.

Tickets are now on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets, Allen Arena box office and by calling 615.966.7075.
