<em>Mature Lifestyles</em> joins Lipscomb to host Expo50, a trade show for those 50+

This free event connects you with companies providing the products and services needed to make your life easier. There will be live entertainment including the Franklin Square Pickers and various celebrity impersonators. Attend free informative medical and legal seminars designed to assist seniors and those caring for an aging parent or spouse.

More than 60 vendors will be on-site with products and services specifically for people 50 years old and older. Expo50 will explore everything from legal issues to health issues, offering information and services useful not only for seniors, but for anyone interested in senior issues. Products from hot tubs to walk-in tubs or a sunny vacation to a screened-in sunroom; services from Medicare advocacy groups to social opportunities will be on-hand in this gathering of senior living organizations.

Entertainment, product demonstrations and informational seminars will be held throughout the day.

Entertainment

The Franklin Square Pickers will perform from 1-3 p.m. on the Main Stage.

Local celebrity impersonators will rock the house as country music legends and others classic legendary personalities throughout the day.

Attendees can vote on their favorite antique and classic cars in the car show of selected vehicles from the Middle Tennessee Region Antique Automobile Club of America.
 

Informational Seminars

Dr. Ming Wang, director of the Wang Vision Institute, will present “Forever Young Lens,” describing the latest advances in laser vision correction. The “Forever Young Lens” is a new lens technology to treat presbyopia and to use for cataract surgery. This new technology enables a patient to see both distance and read up close without reading glasses.

Attorneys from Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel will present information on how to make health care decisions, living wills, power of attorney, estate administration and estate planning, the probate process, the duties of an executor, what is a revocable living trust, and more.
