Lowry among first to receive seasonal flu shots on campus

President L. Randolph Lowry led the way this morning as Lipscomb began its first day of seasonal flu vaccination clinics Sept. 15.

 

Seasonal flu vaccination clinics began on campus earlier this month. Vaccinations are available in the Lipscomb Health Center while supplies last.


 

The seasonal flu vaccination should not be confused with the H1N1 vaccination and will not provide protection against H1N1 flu. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to get vaccinated to reduce their chances of getting both seasonal flu and H1N1 flu and to increase their chances of remaining healthy throughout the school year.
