Eight Lipscomb alumni and one employee are among 70 finalists for the 2019 Nashville Emerging Leader Awards, presented by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and YP Nashville. The Lipscomb honorees and their industries include:
Community Service & Nonprofit
Lindsey Harris (’07), Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, co-executive director of Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition.

Laura Delgado, program director of the Pinero Scholars program at Lipscomb University
Dr. Carjamin Scott (’18), Doctorate of Education in learning organizations and strategic change, associate director of admissions operations at Vanderbilt University
Jackson Sprayberry (’11), Bachelor of Arts in political science, founding head of school at Valor College Prep.

Sydney Ball (’12 & ’14), Bachelor of Business Administration in management and Master of Business Administration, regional business development manager for First Citizens National Bank.

The NELAs recognize young professionals in 14 industry classifications who are excelling in their careers and making a difference in the Nashville community. The annual Nashville Emerging Leader Awards ceremony is Aug. 1 at Lipscomb University.
