Lipscomb to host ELL program information meeting

Lipscomb University is offering an undergraduate-level ESL/English Language Learner add-on endorsement program especially for Metro Nashville Schools teachers. An information meeting is scheduled for Jan. 15, at 4:30 p.m. in Shamblin Theatre, located at 3901 Granny White Pike.

The 13-hour program is designed for teachers with a teaching certificate. Five courses are included in the curriculum. They are English Grammar, History of the English Language, ESL Teaching Resources Seminar, Special Topics in ESL with Field Experience and Race & Ethnic Groups. The course work may be completed in one summer. Classes will begin summer 2004.

Lipscomb is offering all current teachers a special price reduction.
