International Square Fair set for Friday

Lipscomb University will host its annual International Square Fair on Friday, April 14 from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. in

Bison Square
, located on the campus, 3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville.

"Take a Little Trip" is the theme of this year's International Square Fair. Guests may begin their journey by picking up their 'suitcases and passports' at the Lipscomb University Study Abroad Program table. From there they can "travel" to a number of countries. Students representing more than 18 countries will showcase their culture through entertainment, exhibits, activities and demonstrations. The International Square Fair will also feature a sampling of foods from a variety of countries. Entertainment is scheduled to include Scottish dancers, Lipscomb Singers, an African Drum group, a bagpiper, Indian and Sudanese dancers, Andes folk tunes, Latino music, a Chinese Dragon dance, Puerto Rican guitar music and much more. Hands-on activities and demonstrations will include bracelet making, the art of origami and writing in different languages.

This event is sponsored by the Lipscomb University Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Lipscomb University Multicultural Association and the Student Government Association.
