Hodgson-Carruth memorial service set for Jan. 25

The Lipscomb community will celebrate the life of Trish Hodgson-Carruth at a memorial service Sunday, January 25 at 2:30 p.m. in the Doris Swang Chapel, Ezell Center located on the university campus.

A former coach, teacher and student at Lipscomb University, Hodgson-Carruth passed away January 8 after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends in her native country of Canada. She was married to Ted Carruth, a member of the Bible faculty at Lipscomb. Hodgson-Carruth was known for her professionalism, honesty and integrity and she was inducted into the Lipscomb Athletic Hall of Fame in 2003.
