Lipscomb University's Dr. Linda M. Garner has been elected president of Region III of Alpha Chi, the national honor scholarship society.
Garner is professor of English at Lipscomb. She also serves as assistant athletic director/academics and senior women's administrator. She was elected at the Region III convention in Nashville April 1-3 after serving as vice president.
Alpha Chi is a national honor scholarship society for juniors and seniors in all academic fields. Chapters of Alpha Chi may invite to membership no more than the top ten percent of their junior and senior classes.
