Bisons bring home 22 gold medals from ASUN track and field championships
Both men's and women's teams came in second in the ASUN outdoor and indoor championships held this spring.

Lipscomb’s Bisons excelled this spring in both indoors and outdoor track events, with the men and women bringing home 11 gold medals from the ASUN Indoor Championships in February, and 11 more gold medals from the ASUN Outdoor Track and Field Championships in May.
At the indoor championship, the men brought home six gold, six silver, and six bronze medals. With their team total of 143 points, the men set two program records and claimed second place by a whopping 49 points. The women earned five gold, seven silver and five bronze medals, setting three program records in the process. The Bisons secured second place with 147 points, trailing the next competitor by just 7.5 points.
Finishing the 2024-2025 season at the outdoor championships, both teams claimed second place overall, winning 20 medals out of the 42 events. The Bison women totaled 132 points, including racking up 85 on the final day. The men scored 110 points on Saturday night to vault from fourth to second place, winning seven gold medals to match the champion in the medal count.
