Biography

How she can help you: In my role as a subject liaison I can:

  • Assist/Communicate with vendors of electronic resources
  •  Help students with finding resources for their assignments or narrow their
    research topic.
  • Troubleshoot access to any of our electronic resources.
  • Showcase student and faculty work on the Carolyn Wilson Digital Collections.
  • Support faculty with guest lecturing.

Kayla graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in
Information Science before coming to Lipscomb. As a librarian she strives to better
connect people to the information they seek and make it more accessible and
discoverable. Her research interests include accessibility, information literacy, and
digitization. She enjoys video games, reading, puzzles, and editing Wikipedia in her
spare time. Favorite part of your job: Helping students find what they need while
also learning about their research topics. I get to learn something new every day!
