Biography

Alexander Webb joins Lipscomb University as Assistant Professor of Contemporary Music Production, bringing experience as a performer, producer, recording and mixing engineer, studio owner, and music technology educator. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwestern University, where he played quarterback, Webb spent years performing as a singer-
songwriter, sharing the stage with artists including Andy Grammer, MercyMe, and  Yael Naim, while producing and developing artists through his recording studio. His original productions have been featured on major television networks.

Webb later earned a Master of Music in Music Production from Berklee College of Music and most recently served as Coordinator of Music Technology at Florida Gulf Coast University, where he taught music technology while leading recording, broadcast, and technology initiatives supporting the Bower School of Music & the Arts. He is passionate about helping students develop both the artistic and technical skills needed for today's music industry and looks forward to investing in the next generation of producers, engineers, and artists at  Lipscomb.
