Barry Wortz is an accomplished director, editor, writer, and documentary filmmaker whose work bridges artistic vision with social impact. He holds an MA in Media Studies from The New School and an MFA in Film and Creative Media from Lipscomb University. As the owner of a production company, he specializes in transforming compelling narratives into powerful visual experiences. His documentary "Lost Potential" has brought critical attention to the employment challenges facing individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, exemplifying his commitment to using film as a vehicle for social awareness and change. Barry's passion for low-budget and independent filmmaking reflects his belief that meaningful storytelling shouldn't be limited by resources. Drawing from his deep knowledge of film history, he helps emerging filmmakers navigate the creative and technical challenges of bringing their visions to life.
