Biography

Chris is Director of Community Operations for the Department of Security. He coordinates security for special events on the University Campus, oversees the school resource officer program at Lipscomb Academy and all things related to parking on campus. Additionally, Chris manages security at the Spark Facility in downtown Nashville. Chris is a native Nashvillian. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Police Administration and Management in 1993. Chris comes to Lipscomb after a 28-year career with the Metro Nashville Police Department. During that time, he supervised the Explosive Detection Canine Unit and worked with his canine partner Gunner to conduct explosive detection sweeps across the greater Nashville area during special events.
