Biography
Laura is a Chattanooga, Tennessee, native who moved to Nashville in 2011. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Songwriting and Music Business from Belmont University in 2015 and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University in 2018. After graduating from Lipscomb, Laura worked in intensive outpatient, community mental health, and private practice settings across greater Nashville, serving a wide variety of populations and presenting concerns. She joined the Office of Student Success & Wellbeing as Student Care Coordinator in March 2024.
Laura is passionate about helping students navigate the challenges, hardships, and victories that the university experience can bring, and she hopes to be a supportive and welcoming resource. Outside of work, Laura enjoys exploring new walking trails around town, listening to live music, and spending time with friends and family.
