Biography

Professor Shawn Reed is a music industry veteran and charismatic leader who has extensive experience in conducting full orchestras, string ensembles, music theater productions, and combined choral/orchestral works. She has a proven history of gathering musicians into a fun and collaborative atmosphere and then rallying them together to perform music that ‘wows’ audiences of all ages. Her experience also extends into the studio recording space, commercial music, houses of worship, and orchestra contracting.

Professor Reed received her B.A. in Piano Performance from Colorado Mesa University, spent well over a decade in the music industry as a recording artist, traveling worship leader, and music consultant, and then earned her Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting from Middle Tennessee State University.
