Biography
Dr. Hope Nordstrom is the Director of the Center for Teaching & Learning and an Associate Professor of Education. As director, she provides administrative oversight and is directly involved in all Center programming in order to bolster faculty teaching and improve student success. Nordstrom most recently worked in the College of Professional Studies at Lipscomb University as the Director of Curriculum & Instruction and previously was the lead faculty for the Technology Integration master’s program in the College of Education. She came to Lipscomb with 10 years of experience as a middle school language arts teacher.
Nordstrom has her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Tennessee Technological University and her Ed.D. from Trevecca Nazarene University. She has earned an Advanced Online Teaching Certificate from the Online Learning Consortium (OLC), is a certified OSCQR Scorecard trainer, and was selected to be a member of OLC’s Institute for Emerging Leaders in Online Learning (IELOL) 2020 cohort.
