Biography
Tamera Klingbyll joined the Lipscomb faculty in 1990 after obtaining a Masters of Science in Plant Pathology at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Lipscomb while majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry and Bible. She supervises all biology teaching major candidates. She teaches the following courses: Nature Study, and two LIGHT general education courses - Foundations of Biology and LUMS 2003 Power of Science.
Klingbyll is currently working on her Doctorate in Education, focusing on curriculum and instruction. While teaching, Klingbyll seeks to continue merging new innovative learning styles with biology for the informed citizen. She enjoys spending time outdoors and learning more concerning the intricacies of God's handiwork.
