Biography
Dr. Justin Kirby is a native of middle Tennessee having grown up in Lafayette before moving to Cookeville for college and, ultimately, to Nashville for pharmacy school. He remained in Nashville after completing his pharmacy education and residency training. He is currently the PGY1 Community-based Pharmacy Residency Program Director, and he also serves as the faculty advisor for the student chapters of the National Community Pharmacy Association and the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists.
Additionally, Dr. Kirby is the Chair of the Middle Tennessee Diabetes Coalition, the PENCIL partner faculty liaison for the pharmacy technician course at John Overton High School, and a committee member on the Tennessee Pharmacists Association's Legislative and Regulatory Committee.
He is married to Brittany, and in his free time he enjoys sports, fitness, and traveling.
