Biography
Kelly Kidder received her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in Foreign and Second Language Education. Her studies comprised several core areas, including Qualitative Research, French Cultural Studies, Second Language Acquisition Research, and Multicultural Literature. Kidder teaches Elementary French as well as courses in Francophone Literature and French Phonetics and Performance. Additionally, she instructs students and future teachers in research based pedagogical practices both for public school classrooms and for teaching English abroad. All of her courses encourage students to consider the intriguing intersections of language, culture, and identity. Kidder also coordinates a study abroad experience in Angers, France.
