Biography
As Circulation & Collection Development Librarian and a subject liaison, Keaton Johanson provides support in the following areas:
- Evaluating technology check-out needs
- Evaluating course reserve material needs
- Non-archival book donations
- Print collections development / requests to purchase print materials
- Helping students select a topic and create a research plan
- Assisting faculty with literature reviews, resource development, and guest lecturing
Keaton brings over nine years of library service and student engagement experience to Lipscomb. As a librarian he strives to provoke curiosity, discovery, and wonder in God. His research interests include the intersection of faith and vocation, Biblical ethics in librarianship, and messianology. Keaton enjoys talking theology, praying with others, and listening to others’ stories. He is grateful to be able to share the love of God openly at work.
