Biography

Jerkins is an assistant professor for the School of Physician Assistant Studies. Jerkins received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Tenn. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis, which included a straight medicine internship, an internal medicine residency, and an endocrinology and clinical metabolism fellowship.

Board-certified in internal medicine and in endocrinology and clinical metabolism, Jerkins is the owner of Midstate Endocrine Associates.
