Biography

Dean, College of Business, Lipscomb University. An experienced leader in higher education. Previously served as Senior Associate Dean, Associate Dean and Department Chair at Lipscomb University; Dean at Freed-Hardeman University and Department Chair at Syracuse University. Was a career US Army officer, commanding at the platoon, company, and battalion level, awarded the Legion of Merit medal, a qualified Parachutist, Air Assault, Jungle Expert and Desert Trainer, and served on numerous worldwide deployments. In the US, was stationed in California, New York, and many states in between. The latter part of his military career he served as a logistician and transferred those skills to teaching Leadership, Supply Chain and Quality Management.
