Biography

Nanci Carter serves as the Director of Academic Technology and Operations in the University Registrar’s Office at Lipscomb University. With a career spanning several decades at Lipscomb, Nanci is dedicated to leveraging technology to streamline and enhance academic processes, making them more efficient and sustainable for students, faculty, and staff alike.

Throughout her tenure, Nanci has played a pivotal role in supporting student registration and graduation, collaborating closely with faculty, staff, students, and university leadership. Her expertise encompasses extensive experience with student information systems, having successfully navigated three student information systems, four degree audit platforms, and three learning management systems.

A proud Lipscomb graduate, Nanci is affectionately known as a “Lipscomb Lifer,” having attended the university from kindergarten through graduate school. She holds a B.A. in Art and an M.P.S. in Organizational Leadership, both from Lipscomb University.
