Biography

Davis Brown is a PhD candidate in Business Administration at Kennesaw State University and an Instructor of Marketing at Lipscomb University. His research interests include online customer reviews, virtual healthcare, and retail. He is the lead author of a manuscript on frontline employee guardianship in retail that was published in the Journal of Services Marketing, and he has presented qualitative research investigating the barriers of virtual healthcare adoption at the AMA Winter Academic Conference and the Academy of Marketing Science Annual Conference.

Davis teaches undergraduate and MBA courses, including Principles of Marketing and Digital Marketing Strategy & Analytics. In 2019, he launched Lipscomb’s student chapter of the American Marketing Association and currently serves as a faculty sponsor. He also led the fundraising and development of the College of Business Content Creation Studio, and he has continued to oversee the operations and promotion of this space since it opened in December of 2022.
