Biography
Johanna Brooks is the Director of Clinical Education for the Physician Assistant Studies program. A proud graduate of the University of Dayton, she earned her Master of Medical Science degree from the Yale School of Medicine in 2005. With a passion for pediatric medicine, Johanna credits her clinical year in PA school for laying the foundation for her successful career in pediatrics. She spent a decade working in outpatient pediatric clinics across Nevada and Arizona before transitioning to higher education. In her role with an education technology company, Johanna managed clinical placements for online and hybrid students in various programs, including Master of Social Work, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, and Physician Assistant. Outside of her professional life, Johanna enjoys spending time at home with her husband and two daughters or volunteering at their school. You will often find her behind a camera taking pictures.
