Biography

Andy Bleiler serves as Assistant Professor of Theatre, Scenic Designer, and Production Manager. His resume includes scenic designs for Lipscomb University, The Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Vanderbilt Opera Theatre, Blackbird Theater, The Thalian Theatre in North Carolina, and he served as Production Designer for the Sony feature film, Sun Moon. His work has received critical acclaim in The Tennessean, Broadway World, The Nashville Scene, and The Nashville Examiner. He has served as adjudicator for the USITT poster sessions, has been awarded several Meritorious Achievement Awards for Excellence in Design from KACTF, and has been a guest presenter for the Tennessee Arts Academy, SETC, and the TPAC Spotlight Awards.

Andy earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Drake University, Masters of Arts in Teaching from Concordia University, his Masters of Science in Sustainability from Lipscomb University, and Masters of Fine Arts from The University of Memphis.
