Yes, all Lipscomb F1 Visa students are allowed to work, but only on campus. The maximum hours allowed to work during the semester (when school is in session) is 20 hours per week. Whenever a student is on Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring or Summer Breaks, and not taking any classes, they are allowed to work up to 40 hours a week. International students are not allowed to work off campus due to federal regulations. Any violation of these rules will result in termination of the student’s 1-20.
Incoming international students who are first-time freshmen or transfers may be considered for an International Student Scholarship. Please contact Rachel Stowe in the Office of Admissions to learn more.
