The city boasts an astonishing quantity of monuments, palaces, parks, and museums, which house an impressive array of art and artifacts from all over the world.
Vienna's well-established status as an international metropolis with a global reputation is much deserved. A headquarter duty station of the UN, Vienna is a compact yet bustling city which hosts a fusion of rich tradition and modern flair. Students will live on a quaint street nestled between the city's lively squares and Baroque mansions. Within one short week, students will become pros at navigating the city's sustainable and concise public transportation system to explore all of the exciting classic and contemporary cultural opportunities their new home has to offer.
The program fee includes airfare, an international, week-long group trip, a weekend in Kraków, Poland and other group field trips throughout the semester.
Lipscomb in Vienna runs both in the Fall and Spring semesters. Global Learning recommends that students take between 12-15 hours while participating in a semester-long study abroad program. All students are permitted to take one online course while participating in a semester-long study abroad program. If a 2nd online course is necessary, prior approval by Global Learning and the student’s advisor are required.
