Student Success & Wellbeing

The Office of Student Success & Wellbeing values starting well and staying well.

We are motivated by the reality that a student succeeds both emotionally and academically when they begin with a strong foundation and continue to take the steps necessary to care for their physical and emotional health.

We promote the holistic health and wellbeing of campus through intentional programming, education, and one-on-one relationship development. Our office oversees student care coordination, campus recreation, and Care Teams, and new student orientation programs.

Student Care Coordination

Student Care Coordination

The Student Care Coordinators address the needs of students who have challenges in areas of physical or mental health, finances, family crisis or other personal concerns that may affect their academic performance or holistic engagement within the Lipscomb community.

We continue to welcome a record-breaking number of students from around the world, all bringing a wide variety of academic, cultural, personal and social interests. It's important that you have a clear picture of what's needed to begin your Lipscomb experience. Entering an academic community is important and can be stressful, but don't worry. We're here to help.

Wellbeing Workshops

The Office of Student Success and Wellbeing promotes critical thinking about wellbeing within the Lipscomb community. We welcome outreach requests from student organizations, staff, and faculty for presentations, trainings, and workshops on wellbeing resources and mental health awareness. Our office may collaborate with departments like the University Counseling Center, Health Center, or Title IX office to meet these requests.
