Biography
Luc DiGiuseppe, 29, holds a Master of Commercial Music Performance (Commercial Guitar) degree from Belmont University and a Bachelor of Music (Classical Guitar — Summa Cum Laude) degree from Western Kentucky University. Luc is currently touring/has toured the country with many artists, including Tigirlily Gold (ACM New Duo of the Year 2024, Monument/Smack/Kobalt), Patrick Murphy (Warner/SONY), Rachel Horter, Jackson Dreyer, Taylor Bickett, and more. While touring, he has opened for or shared the stage with artists such as Maddie & Tae, Maren Morris, Gavin DeGraw, Brad Paisley, Josh Turner, Kelsea Ballerini, HARDY, Ashley Cooke, Ernest, Josh Turner, Scotty McCreery, Gabby Barrett, Miranda Lambert, Walker Hayes, Darius Rucker, Sara Evans, Ashley McBryde, Cole Swindell, Ingrid Andress, Eli Young Band, Justin Moore, Billy Currington, Old Dominion, Kip Moore, Priscilla Block, Travis Tritt, The Oak Ridge Boys, Big & Rich, Wendy Moten, and more. Luc recently recorded televised performances with Tigirlily Gold on the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM New Duo of the Year Winners), The Grand Ole Opry (Veteran’s Day 2023, August 2024), The Today Show (October 2023), and the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards. He has performed at festivals and fairs such as Pilgrimage Festival (2022/2023), CMA Fest (2022/2023/2024), Faster Horses, Tortuga, Live on the Green, Minnesota State Fair, West Virginia State Fair, Florida State Fair, and recently played the biggest show of his career with Tigirlily Gold at Madison Square Garden, supporting Kelsea Ballerini. Apart from touring, Luc is involved with music ministry and has experience in session work around the Nashville and Southern Kentucky areas. He has performed on and participated in multiple recording sessions as a guitarist, bassist, producer, auxiliary instrumentalist, percussionist, and transcriber/arranger in studios such as Ocean Way B, Columbia A, Quonset Hut, Robert E. Mulloy, The Tracking Room, Gnome Studios, Layman Drug Company Studios, and Ivy Hall Studio. Luc has played electric, acoustic, classical, and bass guitar for 45+ musical theatre productions and counting in professional, collegiate, high school, and community theatre settings. Luc currently performs on multiple stages of Nashville’s iconic Lower Broadway between tours, most notably with pop artists Rachel Horter and Jackson Dreyer, who have held residencies at The 12/30 Club, Ole Red, Four Seasons Hotel, W Hotel, Acme Feed and Seed, and Whiskey Row. Luc held a position as a sought-after accompanist and band leader/music director for 30+ commercial vocalists at Belmont University during his time in graduate school; his culminating master’s degree work focused on transcribing and analyzing performances by guitarist Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy, DFW gospel scene) and saxophonist Bob Reynolds (Snarky Puppy, John Mayer, etc.) for his graduate thesis entitled “The Music of Mark Lettieri and Bob Reynolds: A Transcription-Based Comparative Analytical Study.”
