Summer Financial Aid

Financial Aid is available to assist in offsetting the cost of taking classes during the summer months.

Financial Aid is available to assist in offsetting the cost of taking classes during the summer months. Students could qualify to use funds from:

  • Federal Loans
  • Academic scholarship
  • HOPE Scholarship
  • Summer PELL funds

Most aid requires students to be enrolled in at least six hours across the summer term. Summer term includes any combination (Full Term, Term 1, Term 2  Maymester, Junemester and Julymester courses), although there are no requirements on the months in which these classes take place.

If you previously received the full amount of your Federal Student Loans during the Fall and Spring terms you will need to contact our office to have us determine your loan eligibility.

To receive aid for the summer, the student must have filed a FAFSA for the preceding school year.
