Five Unique Programs to Create Change in Your Career
Conflict Management - M.A. & Graduate Certificate (1 to 1.5 years)
Lipscomb University's Conflict Management program empowers you to explore the building blocks of dispute resolution, examine problems in negotiation and mediation, and develop processes for solving complex issues in the face of conflict. These skills are used to cope with or mitigate conflict by peaceful means and to establish justice for all people. Students from a variety of backgrounds including business, human resources, education, security, humanitarian development and more pursue this degree. Ultimately, conflict management is the means by which we pursue a better world.
Leadership and Public Service - M.A. (1 year)
The Master of Arts (M.A.) in Leadership and Public Service at Lipscomb University has been created and designed to train leaders who can serve strong communities by implementing tangible solutions. The genesis of the M.A. program was predicated on both informal and formal guidance of local, state, regional, and national public servants in multiple sectors and venues of public service.
Organizational Leadership - M.A. with Certificate (10-12 months)
Our Organizational Leadership Master of Arts with a built-in certificate in Conflict Management empowers you with a broad set of skills to meet objectives. Two different modalities are available (online or hybrid) for coursework which will thoroughly prepare you to motivate individuals, manage teams, and use strategies and models to effect change.
Dual Degree Option
The College of Business and Institute for Sustainable Practice offer a dual degree program. This combines cutting edge business training with state-of-the-art training in sustainability, resulting in two diplomas; the M.S. in Sustainability and the Master of Business Administration. The MBA degree is applicable for either our Professional MBA or Fast Track MBA.
Many professionals choose this option to optimize their competitiveness and enhance their flexibility with credentials in two disciplines. Students enrolled in the dual degree program will complete a select grouping of courses from each program (view in courses tab) to earn their two diplomas. The dual degree option MUST be declared before you graduate with either degree.
