Technology at Lipscomb Academy is more than devices — it is an integral part of learning skills and attitudes that are necessary for our students to succeed in higher learning, in employment, and in life.
It involves students and teachers learning together and discovering together. It goes beyond the operation of a computer, iPad, or Chromebook to using technology responsibly, appropriately, and respectfully.
Our technology program requires students to have their own personal learning tool while at Lipscomb Academy. All 5th-grade students will receive a school-issued Chrome Book for use during the academic year. In 6th-7th grades, students are required to use an iPad. In 8th-12th grades, there is an option for an iPad or MacBook as the student’s required device.
