Lipscomb University’s Summer Celebration is set to bring thousands of Christians to campus for a three-day lectureship featuring Duck Dynasty’s Alan Robertson as one of 10 keynote speakers, June 29-July 1.

The theme for 2016 is “Roller Coaster: David’s Wild Ride With God.” The event is free and open to the public.

“There is a place for everyone at Summer Celebration,” said Scott Sager, vice president for church services. “Our goal year-after-year is to provide an environment for Christians to come together to be challenged, renewed and built up in the faith. As we study the life of King David – a man of passion, ambition, bloodshed and sacrifice – our hope is participants will discover a new heart for God, just as David did before.”

This three-day spiritual feast features inspiring messages, practical ministry sessions, engaging kids’ programs and textual studies about David’s wild ride on life’s roller coaster. There will also be fireworks on Friday evening.
