Admissions Requirements

Our MMHC program takes a personal approach, and we want you to learn as much from each other as from your professors. That’s why we consider the whole candidate in our admissions process. We are looking for MMHC students who are ready to think analytically, who can contribute to a team, who are motivated by personal growth, and who can inspire others. 

Applicants to the MMHC program must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

The complete application requirements for the MMHC program:

  • Your submitted online application and fee
  • Resume
  • Personal response to the following question: How will the knowledge and skills you expect to attain in Lipscomb's MMHC program help you create more value in your organization and community?
  • Transcripts from your undergraduate program (and graduate, if applicable)
  • Have electronic copies emailed directly from your undergraduate institution to the gradadmissions [at] lipscomb.edu (Graduate Admissions Office.)
    • If you are having a hard copy mailed, have it sent to: Lipscomb University, ATTN: Graduate Admissions Office, One University Park Drive, Nashville, TN 37204
  • Two professional recommendations. You’ll input your recommenders' email addresses and they’ll receive a link to an online form they can complete in about 15 minutes.

Tuition & Aid

Tuition & Aid

Total tuition is $38,000* for the 40 hour program, with cost per credit hour of $950*.

*Note: The graduate tuition rates may increase annually, effective each summer semester.

Administrative Services Managers

Medical and Health Services Managers

Medical and health services managers, also called healthcare executives or healthcare administrators, plan, direct, and coordinate medical and health services. They might manage an entire facility, a specific clinical area or department, or a medical practice for a group of physicians. Medical and health services managers must direct changes that conform to changes in healthcare laws, regulations, and technology.

Management Analysts

Management analysts, often called management consultants, propose ways to improve an organization’s efficiency. They advise managers on how to make organizations more profitable through reduced costs and increased revenues.
